A Naples homeowner had Oelo permanent lights installed by another company. Then that company went out of business — and the lights started malfunctioning.

The Drive Down

We're based in the Bradenton area. Naples is a haul — about two and a half hours each way. But when the manufacturer of the lights tells a customer "call Perks Smart Solutions," we get in the truck.

When Brian opened things up, the problem was obvious — to someone who knows what they're looking at. The original install had no ground run from the controller to the booster, under-gauge Cat cable, and no conduit. That's not a settings issue or a bad bulb. That's a wiring job that was never going to work reliably.

Done the Right Way

We rewired the system the way it should have been done in the first place: correct-gauge wire, a proper ground run, and everything in conduit and channel where it belongs. Then we got the roofline lights working — red, white, and blue, front and back of the house.

While we were there, the homeowner asked us to add three landscape uplights around the pool area too — 12-2 wire, a transformer, placement tuned so the light lands where it should. One trip, everything handled.
